To what extent did they use CCTV cameras, and what was their policy on alcohol?
The SU is not a police state like Nazi Germany …. totalitinarist was yes and the KGB have been a heavy force, but they just follow moves people. Since CCTV was not as intricate as one is now the issue is largely dead. The Berlin Wall fell in 89 CCTV was not sufficiently advanced for spying anyway. Russians are renowned for there love vodka …. which has never changed.
